I remember when I held my first public event in 2011, with ‘no name’ (do you know there is a brand name called NO NAME? Topic for another day), new in the market, in fact I didn’t put my face on the flier.
Only 26 people showed up, myself inclusive, in a hall of 350 seaters.
Can you imagine the embarrassment? Yea, see the look on your face.
But guess what?
PUTTING MYSELF ON THE SPOT TAUGHT ME COURAGE AND THE PERSEVERANCE TO ALWAYS MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.
PUTTING MYSELF ON THE SPOT SHARPENED MY EYES FOR DETAILS.
PUTTING MYSELF ON THE SPOT GAVE ME FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE ON PEOPLES PERCEPTION ABOUT WHAT I WAS DOING.
PUTTING MYSELF ON THE SPOT GAVE ME THE FREEDOM TO DO MORE AND BE MORE.
When building your personal brand or business, you must to be willing to put yourself on the spot. You have to take that risk.
What do I mean by that?
It means, sometimes you have to LAUNCH out even before you are even ready.

Putting yourself on the spot is a concept to draw attention and get users feedback on what are you doing to improve on the final outcome.

Remember, I mentioned some time ago that my website was still under construction, I simply placed myself on the spot or I placed the website on the spot.
Often times, we end up not doing anything at all or worse still, doing what does not meet the needs of our audience or prospect, when we don’t put ourselves and what we do on the spot and allow them experience the tip before the iceberg.
