Growth Is Personal Podcast with Emeka Nwarulor featured in Feedspot Top 10 Canadian Personal Development Podcasts
I recently received an email notifying me that my podcast “Growth Is Personal” was selected as one of the Top 10 Canadian Personal Development Podcasts by FeedSpot.
Back story, so I started my podcast in January 2022 (three month ago).
I had just arrived home while listening to a podcast and felt deep within my heart that it was time to express my messages in spoken words to make an impact in the life’s of people.
With no fancy gadget, no experience about podcasting, no podcast guest, yet, no paid ads. I launched my podcast, and there rest they say is history. Click here to listen to Growth Is Personal Podcast.
Looking back here a few lessons to learn from this process;
- Being ready is a destination not a position. You become ready by doing, not waiting. If there is a project you have been stalling because you feel you are not ready, I have come to remind that you are ready. You just have to start.
- Gadget/technology/resources is not the reason you haven’t started, it is your confidence in what you already have and your humility to start small. As Steve Harris would say ” ‘ , ‘ “.
- You can study all you want, read all the books about podcasting, copywriting, blogging etc, if you don’t begin to do, learning will be far-fetched.
- Don’t be so overwhelmed and worried about avoiding mistakes that you don’t start, launch and produce that piece of content, that book, or idea. Your message is more important than making mistakes.
